The 9th "Maker Guangdong" Yunfu Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the First Stone Industry Design Competition of Yunfu City was held from June to late July 2025. This competition aims to deeply implement the innovation-driven development strategy, stimulate the innovation and entrepreneurship vitality and enthusiasm of Yunfu's small and medium-sized enterprises, cultivate and expand emerging industries, and promote the local industrial transformation and upgrading and high-quality development. Since its launch, the competition has received widespread attention and active participation from all counties (cities, districts), various industry associations, universities and all sectors of society. A total of 70 eligible participating projects were collected in the early stage, including 30 enterprise groups and 40 start-up groups.

In the final of the 9th "Maker Guangdong" Yunfu Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the "Research and Application of the Green Intelligent Production Line for the Full Process of Investment Casting with Mold" project from Guangdong Lhunter Valley Precision Casting Technology Co., Ltd. won the second place in the enterprise group final with its cutting-edge technology and innovative concepts. It successfully emerged victorious from 70 participating projects and added a remarkable achievement to the field of intelligent manufacturing in Yunfu City!

During the final presentation, the technical maturity and commercial potential of this project were unanimously recognized by the judges. The evaluation experts pointed out that if this production line is widely promoted on a large scale, it is expected to increase the production efficiency of China's precision casting industry by more than 40%, and promote the process of domestic substitution of high-end castings.
This award is not only a recognition of the enterprise's innovative capabilities, but also highlights the remarkable achievements of Yunfu City in cultivating the intelligent manufacturing industry. The person in charge of Guangdong Luhen Valley Precision Casting Technology Co., Ltd. stated that they will take this award as an opportunity to accelerate the industrialization of the project. They plan to complete the construction of the first demonstration production line within the year and expect the annual output value to reach 80 million yuan, injecting new momentum into the industrial transformation and upgrading of Yunfu City.
An innovative pioneer deeply engaged in the field of precision casting
By introducing advanced technologies such as industrial internet and internet of things, the entire production process from wax mold making, shell preparation, melting and pouring to post-processing has achieved intelligent monitoring and data collection. By using intelligent algorithms to conduct real-time analysis and optimization of production data, process parameters can be adjusted promptly, improving the product qualification rate. Compared with the traditional production mode, the production efficiency has increased by more than 30%.
Innovation in green production technology
In terms of the selection of shell material, an environmentally friendly and recyclable adhesive was developed, reducing the environmental pollution caused by traditional materials. In the melting process, efficient and energy-saving melting equipment was adopted, reducing energy consumption by 20% compared to the industry average. At the same time, the wastewater and waste gas generated during the production process were centrally treated and recycled, achieving low emissions of pollutants.
